Looking at both of these pillows. What is your experience with either of these?

Just more weight. Put your extra clothes into a stuff sack. Stumpknocker doesn't use no pillow.

I've used the Western Mountaineering pillow, but quit taking it backpacking and honestly don't use it much any more, even for car camping. It's nice and soft, so soft my head sinks way down in it, so it doesn't provide a lot of support.

I just use a stuff sack with extra clothes. If I'm wearing all my extra clothes, I just rest my head on my arms (I'm a side/stomach sleeper) or stick part of my pack under the top of my sleeping pad. Well, that's when I'm ground dwelling. When I hammock I don't really need anything for a pillow.

Yep, I use my clothes sack and wrap my fleece jacket around it for comfy softness.

Having an inflatable on a long hike might be comforting! ;) W-W

I have yet to find a pillow that works. The stuff sack with fleece jacket wrap never worked for me. I like support for my neck. If I don't I wake up with a sore neck which makes for a long day on the trail.

Generally use a clothes sack too. But when I take a pilllow its this one: http://www.rei.com/product/733361

It doesn't compress like the down ones, but that means the pillow is pretty firm.

of the 2 you asked about I'd get the inflatable.

I really like using the Montbell system, one of their thin inflatables toggled to their pillow.

I saw an advertisement on TV for a free temperpedic travel pillow if you ordered a free promotional DVD. When I called they wanted you to pay shipping of $10 in order to receive it but I figured for $10 it is hard to lose.

The pillow itself is 15-18" long, about 4" wide. The thickness is at least 3-5" (I can take a picture later). It is HEAVY, coming in at 15ozs with the plastic storage, 15ozs without it and 12ozs without the zipper/case around the foam.

It is comfortable, I mean it is that temperpedic material, but I haven't brought it into the woods because of the weight. If a 1lb pillow doesn't bother you, then this could be the perfect solution because you can't find anything close to this quality for $10.

Ckeck out the PillowPad at www.luxurylite.com. At only 3 ozs, and w/ the comfort it provides, it's always a mainstay in my kit!

I have not used mine yet, but they seem just fine. You can adjust them by deflating them.
