Just spend the last four days going from Sky Meadows Park to Harpers Ferry, and it was one heck of the ride..Ran into some thru-hikers Jones, Dee and 6-7 others and couple sectional hikers like me, 3-day and a guy who just chuckle must be his name, Bear Den hostel is the best. And saw one bear near Sam Moore Shelter hang your food! Moo it was a hikers workout

Yes they can near us there also, yelp and howl and disappear. But now you need to tell the story

Loved it in the autumn.Me too. I went from Front Royal to Harpers Ferry in October 2001 as the leaves were turning. A nice easy walk in lovely Autumn weather.

It's a nice little campsite, it's a few miles off the trail, the park office sells some snacks and cold drinks, if you have the daylight and time make it to the Rod Hollow Shelter area good camp sites and the water there is great
