I have read of folks here who have used a Zip stove for their Thru Hike. Has anyone used a Titanium Zip stove for their thru hike? How did it hold up and work for you? :sun:banana:o:-?

I've always liked the idea of the Zip stove. Last winter I borrowed one from someone. It was a PITA to use. Big, heavy, dirty, and fiddly to use. No Zip stoves in my future.

My brother brought his on our hike from Dick's Gap to Wallace Gap. It was fun, but as Marta said, it's pretty big and heavy. Worked best with charcoal from the fire ring, oddly enough. Overall, though, I think I'd just as soon build a little fire; nothing to carry.

Huh, I thought I would receive more favorable comments. I am still looking for someone with a TITANIUM Zip stove-your experience?
