gonna try and do this section real soon . just wondering bout water
Did a hike from Carver's Gap to 19E last weekend and there is water everywhere, should be fine just South, where you are going....:)

Its still wet. Though rainfall has been a little less the last couple weeks going into the top of summer. But I would fill up whenever you can, its getting hot in that area.
I would fill up at Oglesby Branch on Flattop & No Business. It is going to be a good stretch to Erwin with no big springs.
