Not sure if anyone will know the answer to this, but are there any Veterans Administration Medical clinics anywhere along the trail. I'd like to plan an RX resupply at some point.

VA Hospital in Salem, Va is about eight miles from where AT crosses Rt 311 at Catawba
Another VA Hospital in Martinsburg West Va about 21 miles from AT at Harpers Ferry

There is a VA in Martinsburg, WV, 16.2 miles from the trail (ATC Headquarters in Harpers Ferry to VA hospital). Here is a link to Google Maps with driving directions for the trip. I live less than a mile and a half from the ATC HQ, and it's an easy drive. I take my grandfather there once a month.

Lebanon PA VA hospital is not far from the trail near Indiantown Gap (where the AT crosses I81 for the last time NOBO)

VA Hospital in White River Jct, VT, is not far from where the AT crosses from VT into NH. There is limited public transportation in the Hanover area. I do not know if it includes a shuttle to the hospital (it does run to DHMC).

The VA has always let me buy up to 9 months in advance when I have a trip planned.

The WRJ DAV does provide a shuttle service but you need to call the day before to arrange a pick up.
