I looked a cabin for guy who is going in with his brother to purchase it and 5 acres near the end of Viking Mountain Road. The plan is to allow AT hikers a place to stay - on the land, not in the cabin. That will be cool if he gets the place. Maybe he will allow packages to be sent there as well. That would be super sweet. According to him the AT is less than 30 minutes from the cabin - not sure if its all uphill or not. He said we were at 3000' - and I think little laurel is 3500 or a little more - can't remember.
