Thanks

You might pay *alot* of money, but Feathered Friends should be able to sell it to you. I think they sell it for somewhere in the range of $20 a linear yard. Maybe some overseas suppliers may have it too.

Here is there website and real address is there: Kansas City, MS

I doubt they have an outlet store. There might be "seconds".

Maybe you could say you are developing a new poncho-tarp, work at Packa, or sumptin'

Thanks for your help Brian and Connie.

Before I posted to Whiteblaze, I called the Kansas City phone number and it was no longer in service and I emailed but got no response.

Today I called the 800 number and talked to a really nice guy named Chad.

Chad gave me several reasons why it would be difficult for me to get eVent, with the biggest being I would have to order a MINIMUM of 1000 yards FROM China.

However, I tried to talk him into sending me a sample. So We will see. I'll let you know if I get some, and what its like.

A small businessman, with only three commercial-type sewing machines, making day-packs and other gear in Berkeley, CA was able to get "samples" of some great new miracle fabrics: I forgot about that !

I think, it is a strong-point that ..you would want to use their product for a product ..you are developing.

That isn't patent-infringement. That is "product development".

Not my usual type ..but this website using eVent, etal. is interesting:

doh ! ..the post about "patent infringement" is about the part ..about Packa.

hey ! ..for all I know the poster does work for Packa. thin skin !
