Do you have a favorite online place where you buy things like powdered cheese, sour cream, etc.? Lowest prices I've found so far are Barry Farm on Amazon. Anyplace online that's better? I'm on the west coast.

Barry Farm Foods (http://www.barryfarm.com/) is great and you can deal with them directly. I also like Walton Feed (http://www.waltonfeed.com) and The Spice House. The Spice House (http://www.thespicehouse.com) has the best cheese powders. Although I've never dealt with them (they don't ship to Canada) PackIt Gourmet (http://www.packitgourmet.com) also has great powders from what I've heard.

www.packitgourmet.com Why? Fast service, friendly peeps and quality product. As well, the packages are small, which is good for those not needing a ton :)

I have a case of it. Thought it was going to reconstitute like real sour cream so I bought a lot (I was going to have a company package it into smaller portions for resale)... what a let down... lol. Works good in mashed potatoes and soup and bannock though.

The LDS folks have some good on-line stores with lots of options - powdered, freeze-dried, etc. Beprepared.com is my favorite for variety, but you have to buy an entire #10 can of each item. Preparedpantry.com has honey crystals, but its more than half sugar.

Hehheh...so know that feeling! BTW, I use it in a lot of recipes....it adds a creamy taste/texture. Great in creamy rice, pasta, soups, etc, etc!

In addition to selling dehydrated meals, the folks at Enertia Trail Foods sell individual ingredients, veggies, dried whole milk powder, egg powder, etc.

If you like meatballs there is a place up here called Bauly Specialty Foods (http://www.bauly.com/Site/Home.html) and they have a decent array of other things. The meatballs are fairly mild and do good with a sauce and/or some seasonings.

It's Canadian but they will ship to the US. Their powdered honey is great. Pooh would have loved this stuff.
