Leaving town tomorrow to fly out to Glacier National Park to get together with 4 of the guys I hiked with way back in '99.
Can't wait to see Angus, POP, Arrowhead, and Roanoke at the airport in Kalispell. We'll be out there for a week, going to hike a 55 mile loop north out of Many Glacier and then be tourists for a day or two.
At the end of the week we are going to hook up with Dryfly and Pepstep, also '99ers, for the evening.
When I first set foot on the trail I had no idea that the friends I made on the AT would still be with me a decade later.
Hooray for the trail family!
