Can anyone tell me if water sources are good between harpers ferry & the rocky mountain shelter in pa? Any specifics and/or updates about trail conditions would be helpful. Also, is there bear activity in the area; should I hang my food?

Plenty of rain (http://www.erh.noaa.gov/marfc/Maps/PANY_counties_7_color.htm) in the last 7 days.
I hiked this section 2 weeks ago and found plenty of water along the way.
The trail was in great condition. As for bears we only heard and read in journals about bear activity so we hung our food as a precaution. We never saw any.
