We Are Doing A Sect.hike In Sept We Need To Know How The Trail Is From Rt.60 To Rockfish We Have One Week,i Have To Go To Ny For Atc Trail Crew So This Is It For This Year

I am assuming when you say Rt 60 you mean US 60. If so wait until the week before you go and call the Dutch Haus B&B. I highly recommend staying there also if your scheduled permits it.

I second the Dutch Haus....one of the nicest places we stayed in last year!

Boy you should do it in Mid October if you can. A lot prettier with the leaves.
The Three Ridges section is tough. So is the climb up from Rt 60 to start. Give yourself plenty of time in this section. Or you might consider doing it SOBO. All you have really in elevation is the Priest that way, and the climb isn't too bad.
