Krozby, where are you hiking and for how long? Right at the AT crossing of Mass Rt 2 in North Adams (next town east from W-town), the Greylock Community Club has a place for hikers to park. They request a small donation. 413-664-9020.

I have used the Greylock Community Club lot in the past, when I sectioned from Great Barrington to North Adams. The folks were quite friendly, and I had no trouble with any vandals.

How far is this from the southern terminus of the LT? I'll be driving up in a couple of weeks for an e2e hike & I need a place to leave my car for about a month.

The Community Club is about 200yds east of the AT on Rt 2. The LT southern terminus is approx 4 miles north on the AT from Rt 2. There is no direct car access to the LT southern terminus (kind of like Springer).

I've also parked at the Greylock Community Club. All they asked for was my name and address and car plate nos. They mentioned nothing about a donation but I would have if they had even hinted. The lot is quite safe; I believe police patrol it.
