Im at the point to order some maps as they might be nice - ( sept 19th sobo 2009 ) yeah i might make it for a while without , but i kinda would like to have an idea of where im at when the snow starts flying and collecting on z trail -
Ahh the "official " At maps are something like $200 - and that sucks !-
if anybody has a better way for me to get a set of maps - used ( enough to read ) or other - help me out please- as im going with or without - and with might be better .

don't buy $200 worth of maps all at once. Buy them one at a time and just before you need them. That way if at some point on your hike you decide to quit the trail you're not stuck with $200 worth of useless maps.
