She is lucky that when she triggered it's prey drive by running, all she got was scratched up.

Ever since I moved into my present house I've wondered what I would do if a bear broke in through the screen doors to the deck. This is pretty unlikely here, but in parts of NY not far from the AT bears are being attracted by garbage outside homes. Check out the video in this link:

If one was to come into my house, "they" would'nt be bothered to kill it.
i think it's sad they are going to kill it. i wonder if it's a newer neighborhood that maybe encroached on the bears normal habitat...

You go girl! I reccomend you trade up to one of those "Austrian-grenades". Kinda hard to argue with a pistol that'll run a quarter-million rounds.

Nah, go with an "American-grenade". Get a Springfield XDm. Match grade barrel, so it's just as fun on the range as in the field.
I don't carry in the house, but only need about 5 steps in any room to put my fingers around a firearm.
