I am just curious to see who all is planning on attending this years Gathering in Gettysburg on Columbus Day weekend this year. I can't wait and I look forward to meeting many of you guys there!!!:banana
I was going to, but now I'll be out doing a section hike. Have fun, everyone!
I'll be there with my wife. Look for my white 10X10 canopy with a blue pickup truck and stop by. :welcome

I'll be on the Long Trail. Looks like Trail Days was the one and only get-together for me this year.

It will depend on whose era-appropriate uniform I can find first.
The 13th Ohio Mechanized Sleeper Cell was who my great great second removed uncle was with on the field with back when it was an actual field (and orchard).
From what I heard, they carried in all of the statues.

On the registration form for the gathering it said that if you get it in by Sept. 1st you get something special. Anyone know what they are talking about?
I'm planning on being there.

Hoping to make it. Especially looking forward to the two battlefield hikes since I am in the process of reading a book about the battle. Was there a few weeks ago for a quick visit after taking the wife and kids shopping at the outlets there and it really sparked my interest in learning more about the battle. Will be cool to walk the land where it all happened to add some perspective to the book.

I'd like to say I'm going, but I hold the record for RSVPing to 17 consecutive hiking events only to have something come up at the last minute.

So, Jester, where exactly will Trashgiving be this year (dates too, please).
