We are putting on our 6th annual WhiteBlaze hiker feed this year in Monson, Me.
Dates: Sept 12/13, 2009
Town: Monson, Me.
Location: Ball fields behind elementary school on Main Street
Meals: Saturday includes lunch and dinner, Sunday includes breakfast
Camping in ball fields starting Friday evening Sept 11th at 4:00 pm.

This is something that is hard to gauge.
Here are our year to date statistics.
2004 About 85 or more thru hikers and WhiteBlaze members.
2005 About 40 thru hikers and WhiteBlaze members.
2006 About 30 thru hikers and WhiteBlaze members.
2007 About 40 thru hikers and WhiteBlaze members.
2008 About 40 thru hikers and WhiteBlaze members.
The first year was the best year we had because I think it was the only year we did not receive rain.

Well,,,there I was, minding MY own business, when all of a sudden, a BIG Rock jumped in front of me..Gravity took over,,I gave that Rock a piece of my mind and went to bed.That was around 01:30. I don't blame the rock, it had the right of way.. my fault....When I woke up around 04:30, I was sore and awake..So I headed home.
I'm sure you will agree that YOU ALL didn't need me to wake you up at 05:00 when I left.. Thats my story, I look foward to next year... TAKE CARE,,ALL,,,,MIKE...
