Howdy folks. Leaving Friday for section Devil fork gap to Erwin. How's the water there? Thanks.

Last I heard no problem. Plenty of water. But for that section, be sure to grab water at Spivey Gap or going up Oglesby Branch on Flattop, after that there are not a lot of realiable sources until Erwin (except for No Business Shelter).

Filter your water there (Spivey Gap). My son was aghast when he saw the passing horses piss in it after he had drunk from it.
