I've heard a lot of Snow Peak and Vargo but then I found the Evernew Ultra-light pots and they are cheaper and lighter I think. Is there something bad about them? Its almost 20 bucks cheaper than the others. Any reason not to go with this pot?

I have one of those and never had a problem with it. It's the only titanium pot I've ever used and I used it a lot.

About 5 years ago my wife gave me the .9 liter Evernew titanium for Christmas. I use it all the time and love it. I also have a Evernew Titanium double wall mug and use it all the time, in fact I'm using it right now.

I've been using a 1.3 liter pot for over 6 years. The lid is a little warped (probably from abuse rather than heat), and one of the handles was broken off (what do you want for $16.93 at an REI Attic sale? :D). I don't miss the handles one bit. As a matter of fact, I burn my hands more on the pots I have which DO have handles than I do picking the 1.3 up with a bandanna.
Evernew makes good stuff.

Evernew makes top quality products.

I have a .9l pot that I have owned for close to 10 years. Take care of it and it will last a lifetime.

Vargo's office is in the USA.
Like many other products, the location of the company's headquarters often has little (sometimes nothing) to do with the location of the manufacturing plant.

In my line of work, bicycle retail, most of the employees know that most bicycles, regardless of name brand, come out of a few factories in China.
Even Japan uses China to make many of its products which are shipped to the USA.

Got my pot today. Working though. Now I can test out my Supercat stoves on it. I've been making them but my old pot was to big and bulky. I'm so excited! :D It got the 600 ml Its a lot smaller than I though and I probably should have went with the 900 but I think it'll do fine for just me and some oatmeal and noodles. Not gonna be cooking any jambalaya or nothing thats for sure.
