Click on National Weather Service (http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Waynesboro&state=VA&site=LWX&textField1=38.0695&textField2=-78.9026&e=0) and download the Virginia file of Appalachian Trail Through-Hikers' Companion linked in my signature. If you'd prefer the weather for a different town, provide another ZIP Code. Distances between points on the AT, information about towns and hiker services can be found in The Companion.

Do you have any other questions we can answer regarding your route, gear or something else related to your AT hike? Good starting points for general information include Appalachian Trail Conservancy's Hike the Trail (http://www.appalachiantrail.org/site/c.mqLTIYOwGlF/b.4805465/k.9760/Hike_the_Trail.htm) and Plan a Hike which is linked from the 1st page.

You can always head to the Dutch Haus B&B which I hear is good (by Fish hatchery Rd). No towns in that stretch. But shouldn't have horrible weather; maybe rain showers.

The weather for the coming week is going to be nice. High in the 70's to near 80. Small chance of showers (20-30%) daily.

This is a nice streatch of trail, but does not go near any large towns.
