Packing my backpack to leave in the AM and while trying to decide whether between nylon wind pants or an older pair of EMS rainpants $19 falls out of the pocket of the nylon wind pants. Does that mean I should choose them? 40% change of showers Friday and Saturday.

Go with your gut feeling, what it means ($19) is your buying the first round. A pint, ale or B&J's ? Have a blast.

All it means is that you should check the other pocket.

Well if it were me I'd be seeing if the money would stay in the other pair of pants. I wouldn't want a pair of pants whose pockets let stuff fall out. But that's just me, I guess. Ever the pragmatist? ;)

Well, if the 19$ fall out of your pants, what it is trying to tell you is that you will not need it to buy other pants. Look at it this way, it is going to rain, well, since your pocket wont hold money, it wont hold water either, more chance you will stay dry.:D:D

I always bring some type of rain protection, even if it's just a poncho.

/reminds myself to finish the chaps I've had on the back burner for awhile
