A friend of mine that will be my backpacking partner bought the Mountain Hardware Sprite 1.

It is certainly a one man tent and at about 5'10" and skinny he fits in there pretty comfortably. There is a gear pocket, and a small triangle shaped area up by the head to place a few small items while in the tent. It sets up pretty easy and quick -- He set it up in under 5 minutes the first time.

Its a tent that I personally passed on, only cause I am a big guy and felt that it was too narrow for me.

Yes, I bought it on sale at REI a couple-3 years ago on sale. The unique offset of the floor plan is nice for stowing gear. Still, I'm 6 foot and like to be able to sit upright in a tent. That may be a lot to ask for in any solo tent. If I had it to do over, I might have looked harder at an MSR Hubba. (Not sure what the headroom is like in a Hubba, either).

The best place I've found for reviews is www.trailspace.com (http://www.trailspace.com).

So if you could pick this tent our the MSR Hubba which one would you choose?
