Here are YouTube links to two videos that I particularly like.

"Train Hard, Win Easy" is something of a video montage of Kenyan running that was compiled by Toby Tanser. The video quality is a bit lacking, but it's still great to watch anytime you need a boost:

ChasingKimbia is a long series about Kenyan running. One episode that I particularly like is called "Mountains." It is about a 6 min. segment of a team training in Boulder, CO.

In my opinion, there is a lot that can be drawn from them and applied to distance hiking. Especially their attitude -- they seem to run with joy.

If you'll excuse me now, I'm off to do hill repeats. Slowly, though. Happily but very slowly.

NICE!

The second video (the opening anyway) takes place in the neighborhood I used to live in and mentioned in a previous thread. I actually know the fence. :)

Have fun your long, slow run. It's the only way I know how to run. ;)

Off to do a camping trip/20 miler(off trail) in a few hours.. Woo hoo!
