A very nice report. This would be the sort of place that would attract me; a place that would add to the trail experience... David Brill wrote about a similar experience near Hot Springs in his book, "As Far as the Eye Can See".

The WSJ and NYT, both of which I read every day, always have stories on the AT. Funny how how both papers are poster children of right and left wings have the most stories on the AT.
