Hey, I am preparing to thru-hike the trail in May 2010 and I need the amount of time it took for people to hike through certain sections and states. Tell me how long it took you to hike through NC or how long it took you to hike through CT. Every bit of information helps. Thank you very much!:-?

It can vary so much also. Weather, injury, if you spend days in towns, if you keep pace with friends, etc.

It's good to have an idea of where you want to be at certain times, but don't over-think it or invest too much time trying to plan it all out. Most, if not all, of your plans will go out the window once you actually hit the trail.
