Hello.

I am new to this forum because I am looking for the best place to start a three day hike with my buddies preferably in the Shenandoah Valley. Any suggestions?

I hiked the southern most point this past June with my dad for three days from Springer Mountain to Blood Mountain and absolutely loved the experience.

Now looking for a great place close to Cleveland to do another three day hike and this time introduce it to some friends.

Thanks for your comments.

SNP is a great intro hike. Do the central section from Swift Run Gap to Thorton Gap. PM Skyline for a shuttle.

It's all good in SNP. I recommend going around the second week of Oct when the colors are peaked out. If it's not raining you will most likely have perfect hiking weather.
