Ella's 5k and Fun Run/Walk is Almost Here

We are gearing up for The 2nd Annual Ella's 5k and Fun Run/Walk on October 10th from 10:00am until 2:00pm, as we continue to celebrate the life of our friend, Meredith Hope Emerson.

Last year the turn out was amazing and we are hoping to see even more of you this year. We have worked hard to make it bigger and better. In addition to the 5k and fun run/walk we will be hosting live music from The First Stone, a special pumpkin patch for you to take home your Halloween pumpkins, free food and drinks, craft vendors, and an area especially for the kids.

We enjoyed meeting all of your dogs last year and we know how Meredith and Ella would have loved to see all of you as well. We hope to see even more furry friends this year. Labrador Friends of the South will be on-site with adoptable dogs and even providing reduced cost microchipping for your pets for only $25!

This year, the 5k will feature awards for top finishers in various age categories, over all winners will even receive cash prizes. As always, anyone who signs up for the 5k or the 1 mile walk/run will receive a long sleeve t-shirt and goody bag.

Early registration is now open for

There is also a special discount of only $10 for children 16 years of age and younger that plan to participate.

Thank you all again for your support of Right to Hike, Inc. as we continue to try and make the difference in the community that we know Meredith would have. We continue the fight for people to be able to enjoy the outdoors without fear, and support the things Meredith loved most in life.

Please sign up by Monday, October 5th to guarantee yourself a t-shirt.
