I think they found it on the 23rd on some mountain called Shinbone Mountain. I seem to recall it was about 5 miles or so from the AT near Wayah Bald I think.

If so, then the one I linked to above must be a different plane, cuz that story was posted on the 20th.

I didn't catch the date on it. I found it in someone else's pictures of a hike in GA. Don't know exactly where it is, but it looks like Unicoi to me.

The sign is in fact at Unicoi Gap.

It is my picture...I included the location in the photo caption. Unicoi Gap at the base of Blue Mtn. With the wreckage being found I was surprised the sign hadn't been removed yet (or that it even lasted so long through +2 months of weather)
