I saw a book on Katahdin and Baxter State Park last year at a Patagonia store that I really, really should have bought. It was a coffee table sized book, mostly about a canoe journey through the many lakes of the north woods. It had stunning photographs, and I believe the author was a woman. I remember one section covered Katahdin itself and had really good pictures of the trail.
Now I can't find it, and can't remember what it was called. Does this thing ring a bell to anybody?
