Yes, the AT is about 6 or 7 miles west of Ashley Falls, MA. The section from Salisbury, CT to Jug End, MA is really beautiful. This thread from yesterday is about a place about as close as you can get. http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?t=54779&highlight=race+brook
