I am looking for a good Friday afternoon to Sunday hike probably the second weekend in November. It doesn't have to be a loop. Probably 10-12 miles a day. Please give me your recommendations.

Max Patch to Hot Springs, NC. 20 miles. Get a shuttle from the nice folks in Hot Springs at Bluff Mountain Outfitters. :D

Or start at I-40/Standing Bear Farm and make it a 3 day hike. 34 miles (ish).
