My son has done it again...

He lost my stove and pot in the Smokies. The last two shelters he stayed at was Mollies Ridge where he used it and Derrick Knob where he ate cold food.

The cook pot is a Ti Evernew.
The stove is a Starlyte with a wind screen.
There was also 2 Nalgene 4oz bottles of denatured alcohol.

Hopefully somebody on here has found them. My son said a reward will be given. He hopes somebody has found it so he can get out of the doghouse.

Please PM if found.....Thanks!!!

That's why you send him with a cheap greasepot and a homemade alcohol stove. (I know- my son used to lose all kinds of stuff) :)

You should also check the next issue of "AT Journeys" when it comes out (it's the AT Concervancy's magazine). On the last page there is often a post about some gear that has been lost or found. You might even be able to check with them before the next issue comes out to see if they've been contacted - or post your ad there as a "lost - pot and stove at ____". Good luck with getting it back.
