You mean those friends on your list on your profile page?
I only have friends because I clicked the thing that said something along the lines of "befriend this person" on their profile. And then I stopped when I realized that having freinds on your list doesn't do anything. I've been on here about four years. (Previously under the account name traceless)

Don't want anybody feeling so lonely, si I just sent ya a friend request. It took about five clicks to find where you do that, so that could explain why so few have. But don't let anybody tell you having a friend on here has no benefits. If you go to the Doyle and tell Pat and Vicky you are my friend, they will give you two beers for the price of two, without requiring a security deposit.

The friends feature is meaningless here. If folks want to "befriend" each other they can do it with dialogue here on the forum. I only know one of my (three?) registered friends, if that's any consolation to you.

Thanks for your replies. Panzer is taking advantage of this beautiful Fall weather :sun and is camping in the Port Clinton area by the AT. He saw a bear 1/2 mi. from camp this afternoon and just heard something moving around in the dark. The food is locked in the truck. Anyone know any ghost stories?
