Just a reminder about the AT community forum (http://www.appalachiantrail.org/site/apps/nlnet/content2.aspx?c=mqLTIYOwGlF&b=5105189&ct=7541671) tonight (6-9 p.m.) in Carlisle (PA). Even if you don't think the program will be new info to you, it would be good to attend as a show of support for the efforts to protect the trail from encroachment in the Cumberland Valley area.
They are expecting officials from municipalities along the trail to be in attendance. Many of those municipalities will soon be considering zoning changes and other measures to comply with the state's AT Act and it certainly won't hurt those efforts for those officials to see a strong turnout and high level of interest in protecting the trail from developers.
