Has anybody had any experience with a good, durable gps for $200 or under? I know I don't need one, but I'm not sure if I really want one yet. :D

If you guys could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

depending on what you want in a GPSR:

Garmin makes jsut about the best out there. Their eTrex series is very inexpensive ($100) but does not have topo maps or anything fancy like that. You simply load waypoints in and it tells you which way to go based on your location. It also keeps a track log which shows where you've been.

Based on what I have seen recently if you want anything other than road maps you are going to spend more than $200.

Don't listed to all the hype about Garmins. Try looking at others. Magellan is one brand I recommend. Also Delorme.

I've been planning on buying the DeLorme Earthmate PN-30, I have read good reviews and Walmart has it for $214.00
