On this years thru hike I noticed, without fail, every time I began seeing small toads appear on the trail, rain was 12-24 hours away. It was freaky!
Now some people claim they can smell rain coming and others say they know a storm's approaching when their arthritis kicks in. Anyone else have any weather predicting fables they care to share?
