I'd guess a cross between domestic cat and bobcat. Ears, face, size looks like a bobcat to me, tail looks like domestic cat. certainly NOT a cougar, Mountain Lion, Puma, etc..

Moron tourists need to get out of the car. Perhaps a walk thru the zoo is a good start.

I found the occupants of the car much more interesting/entertaining than the house cat... Are there really people out there that talk and act like that when they see a housecats and cobras in the woods? Or were they just acting?

House cat. It is impossiblle to mistake one for a cougar. Its impossible to mistake anything for a cougar. Not sober or sane.

LOL. You people are waay to funny. Not a lynx, bobcat(or bobcat/house cat cross), or cougar! In all most likelyhood, a large domestic cat breed.

I too feel like a blurry eyed bubblehead that has been bouncing around the dashboard for too long!

It may be a feral cat but not a bobcat, tail is too long for that and if it were a cougar the tail wold be about 6" longer...
Look at some other vids and compare physical structures.

At first I thought it was a Bobcat but since it sat there and let itself be filmed and then looked right at the occupants in the car without alarm I came to the conclusion that it was just a big ole Tomcat. When I was out in Kern county, California there were Bobcats all over the place and they were skittishness creatures because they would not sit around waitng for their portraits to be taken at all.....it is just a house cat or a feral domestic cat.....

I spent lots of time in the woods with a cat.....it might be ferrel but it is definetly a house cat. Depending on magnification, it may not even be that big.

That's probably someone's pet. It may be a larger specimen of a domestic cat, but it's no Puma or Bobcat. If you want to laugh, read thru the comments on Youtube. Did you know that there are Black Panthers in Northern Pennsylvania?

I'm not a Wildlife biologist, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. :D

It is not a panther or bobcat. It doesn't look like either. It is obviously just a domestic cat. Since it was just sitting there upright, in a position that big cats don't use in the wild, and it had no fear of people, it was most likely someone's house cat. These people are the type that see two lights coming down the highway at night and assume it is two UFO's. I wonder if that was a real cobra though. LOL!

Just lazy goofy cheap parents trying to convince thier kid that they have taken him on a big adventure and out for an exciting adventure. Sad.

just a typical housecat...only word you have about the distance is their estimate which judging from the sounds of them is probably waaaaaaaay off.
