Enjoy.

Nice photography Mags. You've got a real talent for that kind of stuff. I can never get my photos to come out that well.

Great pics Mags! I love the goats, the only animals I missed on the CDT this year...bummer. The Hachita sunrise is beautiful also. I enjoy looking at other CDT pictures a lot, and listed some I have from this summer if you want to take a peek. Thanks for posting these.

Paul, love the pix! I could see these in many magazines. I am jealous and envious.

I'm not Worthy, I'm not Worthy.....

Great light, composition, etc. Did you do much cropping or photo shopping? Also, what is your camera set up and accessories...camera, lens, filters, etc?

Minimal cropping and photo shopping. I lightened up a photo here and there and deepened the colors on a few. Perhaps 10% of them were touched up?

I approach photography the same way I approach hiking: I don't emphasize equipment much. The 2006 (CDT) photos were done with a 5MP Canon. Some of the 2003 photos (The Winds and the San Juans) were done with an Olympus 3.2 MP camera and anything from 2007 on were done with an 8MP Canon.

Maybe someday I'll get a "real" camera...but, well, I like to KISS. :)

Mags great peice of work, I am sure that took a lot of work and effort. Some of the pics are gallery worthy or submit to Backpacker for a small fee!

I was instantly reminded of my youthful hikes in the backcountry out there.
