MAPDANA should have been made with synthetic fabric rather than 100% cotton.

Why? I found that I prefered cotton bandanas because I usually wanted them to absorb water... like wiping off condersation, prespiration, wet pans, etc. I just attach it to my front shoulder strap to air/dry out, unless it is raining.

Yes, depending on the use of a bandanna, synthetic bandannas may be a bad idea, I use mine mainly as a kitchen thing for grabbing hot pots and such, a melting synthetic would be a bad thing.

I hate to "me too", but cotton is the way to go for a bandanna.

The only reason why cotton is bad for clothing is it takes forever to dry which could result in hypothermia.

If all you have to keep you warm is a cotton bandanna you're in trouble regardless if it is wet or not.

Without a cotton bandana, I don't have anything to clean my glasses without scratching them. As it is part of my first aid kit, I want something that will absorb bodily fluids and be strong enough to act as a sling.

I like poly t-shirts, but a poly banadana just doesn't make sense to me.

My bandana is also a backpack that transforms into a suspended sleeping platform complete with rainfly and stove, but it is cotton.
