Hello Hikers;
For 11 years, my Dad (Mr. Ed), and I went on week long section hikes of the AT. Mr. Ed was almost 69 our first year, and almost 80 when we stopped. During that time, we both became 1000 milers. The experience changed my life. As a result, I've written a book, tentatively titled Meeting Mr. Ed: A Journey of Discovery on the Appalachian Trail. The book is part hiking journal and part biography of an incredible man who spent his entire life serving his community and his country.

Currently, I am finalizing the publication of the book. However, I have uploaded a website, www.meetingmred.com (http://www.meetingmred.com) with details and pictures of the hikes. I am also adding content almost daily right now. You can also join my secure e-mail list for updates on the progress of the book. Once it is finished, you will be able to buy the book directly from the site, or buy it from the major online retailers, and hopefully from the ATC website. I will certainly update the site when it is available and post the information on whiteblaze as well.

Happy Hiking!

Hello Everyone;

I've had quite a bit of activity from Whiteblaze on my website www.MeetingMrEd.com (http://www.MeetingMrEd.com) and for that I am grateful. I'm happy to say that the book is finally available. If you are interested in purchasing the book, you can order it directly from the site.

I'm getting very positive early reviews from both hikers and non-hikers. Mr. Ed, my Dad, is an amazing guy and I intertwine the story of our hikes with his life story. If it sound interesting, I invite you to check out the web site and perhaps buy a book. Thanks and happy hiking.
