My last preparations are set for my section hike. It seems like an even bigger deal to me, now. Hoping for success - you just never know. My only thoughts now are my gear and my money. Did I plan well - do I need this - should I leave that. My equipment seems so permanent. Sold the motorcycle on Saturday --paid off loan, not much left over. Oh well. Its almost time to find out. Phone cut off yesterday - mid conversation. Today is the last day for borrowed computer. The end of this week will be a few days in the woods to 'feel' the pack one last time and say goodbye to a good friend. Then a trip to GA with hootyhoo (thanks for digs, food, and love). A stop at the post office - boxes away. Walk.
Beautiful folks on this site. I would feel privileged to stomp ground with any of you. Lots of good stuff on this site - loved it - should have found it sooner. Later, Doodman.
