This is an inspirational article regardless if one hikes or not. When I have the time I'll try to read his journals.

Also, note the daily miles he would have had to complete the CDT in 5 months. I came up with approx 18 miles per day, every day. Wow!

In 9 years this senior citizen has completed three trails that rank at the very top of the hiking "foot-chain". Bravo to Charles. I hope I can walk when I'm 70.
