I was gonna make hamburger gravel - but dang if I aint got no hamburger. I found 2 pounds of stew meat in the freezer -beef of course - any ideas?
And no - I will not make and dehydrate a stew - there is not enough time.

THIN SLICE IT AND MAKE JERKY?? I often throw jerky in with ramen noodles.

I tried to make beef stew for last years hike but it didn't come out well. More like chewy soup.

Good luck

Thaw it, run it through a food processor, cook it in a pan the same way you would with hamburger, dehydrate, then smash it up with a mallet.

I have no idea if this will work, but I can't see why it wouldn't. As long as you get it down to paste like consistancy, it should cook/dehydrate roughly the same as burger.

That's my idea. Test at your own risk.

cook it like stew meat, shred it and dehydrate.
