I'm looking to ask Santa for a GoLite Ether Wind Jacket. Anyone know if they fit tight, or roomy. If they fit tight I'll go XL. If they're roomy, I'll go Large.
I have the golite wisp windshirt not the ether but they are both semi fitted. I'm 5'9 about 170 and have a large and wouldn't want it any smaller. Guess it depends what you think you'll wear under it. I can wear a base layer and light down vest but not much more.

Get it a little large to accomodate for under layers if you plan or wearing it in cold weather

Thanks for the replies...I plan to get it a little larger to wear over my jacket, but my experience is that not all "large" jackets are created equal. I'm trying to find out if the golites run a little tight or loose. From the first post, it sounds like maybe they run a little tight so I'll probably go with the XL.
