wrong thread. this was meant for Ron's 2009 hiking thread. the best memory of trail days was the mass exodus sunday/monday

Meeting Gene Espy, first. A real trail legend and nice man.
Second would have to be the parade.
Third is a tie between the greasy cheeseburger at Dot's (wonderful, really!), and the hiker parade.
Of course, I got to meet a few friends, Peanut and Bronco among them, and I briefly got to meet Lone Wolf, one of my fellow (former) Rhode Islanders.
I also had a great time checking out all the ultralight stuff displayed on the grounds.
Nice town, nice folks, LOOOOOOOOOOOONG drive! :rolleyes:.
