it is the right forum. Not sure if it is possible to do a 6-7 hr loop around Standing Indian. Possibly could do from campground up Kimsey Trail to AT to Standing Indian then ?? Ridge Trail??? back to campground.

It will be a steep downhill back to the campground, (or uphill if you reverse the loop)

Start at Standing Indian Campground. Kimsey Creek Trail to Deep Gap. AT up Standing Indian Mountain. Lower Ridge Trail back to the campground.

I'll third the Standing Indian Campground -> Kimsey Creek -> Deep Gap (AT) -> Standing Indian summit (AT) -> Lower Ridge Trail -> Standing Indian Campground loop.
