Oh wow. So sad to hear that! Hardly know what to say. It goes to show how close AT hikers can feel, once they hike with each other.

I dont know you RedHat,but can understand what your going thru.my Dad passed away in Aug/09 and im very sorry for your loss.Your in my prayers!!!

Glad the hiking community is coming together for support - Both this small community and the larger community on Facebook.

You will remain in my thoughts and prayers - I'm going to make a real effort to come over to SORUCK on Saturday to see you. He-Dino doesn't want to go back to SORUCK again so I'll likely be alone.
