Might want to go to Woods Hole shelter for Friday night, short easy hike from Neel on Freeman trail which might be better than going over Blood in the rain. Can go either way from there depending if you're dropping a car or doing an in-and-out. Whitley Gap shelter is a little over 10m nobo with Cowrock as a nice overlook spot, and probably makes the most sense if you're hiking back to Neel. Gooch shelter is about 12m sobo with Big Cedar as a nice overlook along the way, and would only be 5m back to a car if parked at Woody Gap.

Do you are taking 2 cars (or paying for a shuttle) or just 1?
