My wife always gripes that I have too much hiking/camping stuff, but after following the forums here at Whiteblaze for a while, I'm convinced that I'm a weenie when it comes to gear. So let me see what you've got. I'll start with my stuff. To keep it simple, I'll stick with the big 4, ranging from dayhiking to solo backpacking to backpacking with my wife to car camping:

Packs - Mountainsmith tour lumbar pack, Arcteryx Q-10 lumbar pack, Patagonia hydration pack, Osprey Stratos 18, North Face Terra 40, ULA Ohm, ULA Catalyst
Bags - BPL Cocoon 60 quilt, Marmot Hydrogen, North Face Easy Rider, North Face Dolomite
Tents - 6X8 silnylon tarp, 10X12 sylnylon tarp, Lunar Solo, Lunar Duo, Black Diamond Vista, Eureka Northern Lodge 8
Pads - Ridgerest, GG Thinlight 1/8 and 1/4 inch, Prolight 4, LLBean Camp Futon

Let's see what you've got

connie how do you like the Psoalr.EX facemask? can you get enough air through it to wear when working hard, like when ascending?

my big 4 (unless it's winter - then i sleep on the ground and pack differently):

0sprey exos 58
claytor hammock and OES maccat spinn tarp (waiting for $ to upgrade to warbonnet)
blue foam pad
golite ultra 20 quilt

I like it because it does not restrict my breathing even snowshoeing uphill at 6,040'. It rinses out easily, if getting used too much: I have rinsed it once. It is quick-drying. It disappears in my jacket pocket. It keeps steam off my eyeglasses, not marking my face, nor restricting blood flow to the skin. It keeps down moisture inside a tarp or tent. It keeps my sleeping bag or quilt from getting wet from exhalation.

I like it so much I haven't tried the PolarWrap Warm Air Mask or Full Head Cover or ExchangerII, although they have a nicer appearance.

Just a list of things I have been using lately....

Pack: Osprey Aether 60 and wanna get my Kelty Super Tioga external frame functioning again (needs a little work, haven't used in at least 10 years)

Bag: Campmor 20 down rectangular or Slumberjack Talon (depends on weather).

Pad: Thermarest Prolite Plus, large

Pillow: Thermarest reversable stuff sack pillows

Tents: Solo - MSR Skinny too or Eureka Mountain Pass 1XT,
Just the dog and me - TNF Quartz 22 (just got it, a little heavy, really like the design and got at a good price, trying it out in a few days)
With my girlfriend and a dog - eureka Timberlite 3xt,
And with all 3 dogs and the GF taking the boat to the other side of a lake - Eureka Sunrise 8 (wanna upgrade from it)

Stakes: Been using the Kelty no bend gold ones or MSR needle stake, wanna get some groundhogs as well.

Stove: Jetboil

Orikaso plate, bowl and mug - love these things, easy to assemble.

Light My Fire Spork or an old nestled steel set (whatever I find first).

I have a basement full of stuff that I don't use much/often. Have to go through it all soon....
