I was planning to park in Lee Mass and hike to Dalton. I am not sure where to leave my car, and also thinking about shuttling back to my car. Weather looks reasonably poor, as there may be flurries and temps will top out at 27 degrees.
I considered staying at the Southern Comfort Inn, and the hiking from there, but they apparently are closed.

There is a parking lot on Rt. #20 .1 miles west of the AT crossing. You could probably leave your car there.

I've left my car at the aforementioned parking spot on Rt 20. on two occasions.

You can see, specifically, where the parking lot is if you look at the map i made on one of my trail journal entries:

Dave Ackerson (413) 346-1033 is a great guy out of North Adams, super reliable shuttle service, can park your car at the Becket Motel (413) 623-8888. They drove me to the AT

When are you going to be in Lee? I live 10 min from both the Becket & rt 20 A.T. crossing. If I am in town & you don't mind a donation for gas, I'd be happy to help ya. 413-441-2138

I've left mine at the same lot with no problems.
