Late January early Feb central Virginia weekend

Looks like I'll be heading back to the Tidewater area for business late next month. If I'm stuck there over the weekend, I'd like to get a short section in. Where should I go to have a good hike, but not be absolutely screwed if there is snow in Central VA. I already did the AT in SNP from Loft Mtn to Blackrock Hut.

do the 20 miles or so north of va 311 near catawba to US 220 near the I-81 interchange. great views, some climb, 2000-2500 feet altitude so maybe it won't be snow covered.
